Maelea Galyon moved to the High Country in 2015 after growing up and working in Maryville, Tennessee, for most of her life. A 25-year-veteran of public education, Maelea retired in July of 2018 to build her business, Turn It Up Consulting, which helps companies, organizations, and individuals Amplify Their IMPACT, by sharing collaboration and relationship building strategies and tools. During her time in public education, Maelea developed a passion for collaborative work and for helping others improve their skills in that area. Turn It Up Consulting gives her the opportunity to share that experience and expertise with others.
Maelea enjoys living in the woods with her husband, Don Goddard.
