Mission is to enhance the quality of life by the creation of a riverside greenway connecting major institutions and neighborhoods of our community. Once completed, a 9 mile Greenway will be available for all to enjoy walking, jogging, biking and will provide alternative access to Wilkes Heritage Museum, Frescoes at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, historic downtowns of Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro, River's Edge recreational area, W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir and more! The trails are fully accessible to wheelchairs. Presently, connecting trail heads are as follows: West Park Coffee Tavern, Reddies River D Street, Midtown Market with parking at Cornerstone, and North Street near Museum.
